Adapt: A Behavioral Collective, Inc. is a recently developed behavior agency in the Bay area and as so, presents a very exciting opportunity for yourself…to contribute to the creation and foundation of a new and exciting business!

 

Our mission is simple, to provide these therapy services with the highest level of quality to our clients and their families. To accomplish this, it starts with hiring the right people! 

 

We are looking to grow our company from the ground up with intelligent, professional, creative, and passionate individuals who are looking to build upon their skills within the field of behavioral therapy or join into a new career all together! More importantly, we are not looking to over work you or under-deliver in the service to our families! Our focus is to provide highest level of training, mentoring, resources, and on-going development for each of our employees so that they feel empowered to be whatever they aspire to be within our company.

 

Presently, we are looking for both part and full-time employees as well as independent contractors. We have open positions for behavior therapists, program managers, and clinical directors. Below is a short description of each position and the necessary qualifications. We thank you for your consideration in joining the Adapt team and look forward to meeting you!

 

CURRENT OPENINGS

All positions will be filled within the surrounding San Francisco and East Bay areas.  Spanish, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin speakers highly encouraged.
 

Requirements for all applicants:
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Ability to provide negative TB test results
• Ability to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting
• Access to computer with internet connection on a daily basis
• Mobile phone with ongoing service plan


Behavior Therapist I and II


Part-time or independent contractor positions available. Full time considered if available.

 

Responsibilities:


Behavior Therapist I
-Provide direct 1:1 Therapy service in a child's home, school, or other natural environment
-Teach various adaptive skills.
-Effectively respond to and minimize behaviors of concern
-Use various teaching methods (DTT, NET, PRT) and maintain consistent empirical data to track child's progress.
- Communicate consistently with Program Manager/Clinical Director on case status and needs-Complete required paperwork including, but not limited to, daily clinic notes and data.
-Organize and create teaching materials

 

Behavior Therapist II
-Same as entry level Behavior Therapist duties
-Shadow, substitute, and train entry-level therapists as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

Behavior Therapist I
- B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field is preferred but not required, HIgh School Diploma is a minimum
- Some training on the fundamentals of ABA
- Experience working with children with special needs, such as Autism

 

Behavior Therapist II

-Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field
-Familiarity with ABA tools/methods (i.e. DTT, NET, PECS, PRT, etc.) and principles of behavior modification
-Minimum 2 year experience working with children with special needs, such as Autism
-Experience implementing behavior and educational procedures
-Excellent verbal, written, and problem solving skills

Behavior Therapist - DOE

Behavior Therapist (Senior) - DOE

Benefits and pay dependent on type of employment.

Program Manager

Part-time or independent contractor positions available. Full time considered if available .

 

Responsibilities:


-Take part in the development of company wide policies, systems, protocols, templates, etc.
-Meet with the Clinical Directors to discuss cases
-Perform initial evaluations and assessments for new clients
-Provide ongoing program adjustments and evaluation
-Compile consistent data collections needed to complete progress report
-Complete progress reports
-Develop and implement treatment plans (lesson plans)
-Complete quarterly evaluations of Behavior Therapist
-Manage Behavioral Therapist implementation of intervention
-Attend, organize, and lead bimonthly or weekly Team Meetings
- Provide on-site and remote supervision of programs
-Provide resources needed for interventions (folders, lesson materials)
-Resolve grievances within teams.
-Training the parent(s)/guardian to effectively implement the plan within the home and community setting.
-Develop individualized transition plan for each case

Qualifications:


- Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education or other related field (ie. MFT, SLP, OT, CSW)
-Minimum 2 years of relevant behavioral experience
- Familiarity with ABA tools/methods 
- Experience implementing and managing interventions
-Experience in managing entry level and senior staff therapists
-Experience with data analysis to monitor performance, progress, and implement needed changes
-Excellent verbal, written, and problem solving skills

Clinical Director/Program Manager 

Part-time or independent contractor positions available. Full time considered if available


Responsibilities: 

 

- Take part in the development of company wide policies, systems, protocols, templates, etc.

- Provide on-site and remote supervision of programs

- Provide feedback and modeling of suggested techniques to instructors, managers, and parents

- Create, model, and implement individualized behavior plans-Complete quarterly evaluations of Program Managers

- Resolve grievances within teams.

- Meet with team members and families-Perform initial evaluations and assessments for new clients

- Review and edit progress reports and provide direction for next stages of intervention

- Review and edit treatment plans and provide direction (lesson plans)


Qualifications:

 

 -Master's Degree or higher in Psychology or other related field
-Professional Certification or License required
-Minimum 2 years of relevant behavioral experience at a supervisory level
-Fluent knowledge of ABA tools/methods (i.e. DTT, NET, PECS, PRT, etc.)
-Extensive expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive interventions-Hands on experience using assessment (i.e. VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS)
-Experience in managing entry level and senior staff members
-Excellent verbal, written, and problem solving skills
-Have Liability insurance/NPI
